Can I tow I tow a lightweight Caravan with a Jimny
The kitchen is on the right when you enter the caravan.
There is no real problem with height. I'm about 5.10/11 myself.
The idea of the small raised roof is so that you can stand and use the kitchen.
You will find that unlike larger caravans there is no need for everyone to stand around.
As soon as you slide along the seat to stand up you naturally avoid the fixed roof and you are then standing up in the raised section. It's a bit difficult to describe but you have to remember it's only a small caravan and one or two steps from the door takes you in to either situation.
You virtually swivel round and sit down as soon as you enter.
Think of it more like a campervan.
When we are on site for any length of time we generally leave the bed up and sit in our awning.
At least one of you will always be sitting there is not a lot of room otherwise.
As far as mirrors are concerned your first example is more to eliminate blind spots in cars and is not really a towing mirror I have the older version of the second mirror like these so one of these will do. Just make sure you get the larger version for 4x4 mirrors as the clamps/arms come in two sizes
I also have a large pair of millenco aero mirrors but they are too big for the Jimny really.
Just buy yourself a cheap mirror to try as the Eriba Puck is small and you might not really need it?
I only mention one mirror as you find that when you are overtaking once in to the middle lane you can see quite far back in the n/s mirror so can easily judge when to pull back in but if you want to buy a pair do so.
You will probably find most truckers will flash their lights to let you know it is safe to pull back in.
A couple of flashes on both indicators will suffice as a thank you once you return to the n/s lane
I started off high and worked my way down ever since

I think we've (after much back and forth) decided to go for the Pan eBay item ref 291082416304
I'm just waiting for the seller to come back from being away and I'll be sending the deposit.
My wife likes the idea of a tiny bit more room and also the heater
I'm still a tad worried about the extra weight from the going cockpit of 60kgs but it being 541 MiRO I'm hoping the leeway of 759KG total tow weight should be ok.
I'm Getting the chap to do the handover on a local Caravan Club site, so we won't have to worry about towing the van for the first time when we've driven all the way down to kent.
Wish me luck
I'll let you know how we get on and send some pictures. )

Suzuki Jimny - 1.3 (60 kW/80 bhp)
Date of manufacture: may 2001 - february 2005. Towball limit: - kg (Advise: 50 kg)
Important for safe towing is the weight ratio between Car and Caravan. The weight ratio (loaded caravan / kerbweight tow car) for the Suzuki and Eriba is 67%. This means that the match between car and caravan is perfect. The stability and safety index is very good for this outfit.
The towing performances of this Suzuki with your Eriba are perfect (performance index = 63).
You may expect excellent performances from this outfit. On flat roads you can come along adequately, top gear is applicable in all cases.
On motorway inclines you will be able not only to come along, but be the first at the top. On most steep roads you have sufficient power to keep going. On hill starts there will be more than enough power to get going, provided the wheels have traction.
