Doesn't look like an Alko to me.
Should say on the vin plate
Doesn't matter with its age it'll probably have an overrun system for reversing.
The slight delay you feel when starting off is the hitch extending to take up the weight.
Next time you are out on a quiet road try stamping hard on the brakes and you should feel the caravan brakes coming on when the hitch compresses and pulls the brakes on.

I started off high and worked my way down ever since :-)

Yes, I think it is. I'm sure I've noticed AL-KO on the plate. I've got to get the chassis of the vin plater tomorrow for the insurance so I'll have a look.
Just booked a service and some 230v sockets fitting as they're all the Euro type.

Hi chaps, just wondering if you've got a minute if you could have a look at my clutch needed post in the technical section.
Thanks.

V.i.n.cent has just been collected for his servicing and floor hot bonding dowel repair thingy, plus some 12v led reading lights and two 3pin sockets, plus the service.
Can't wait to get him back for the next holiday in April.
