The air bag module in the Mode steering wheel has a different plug/socket to the older grey wheel.
The newer wheels are only 3 spoke and different again inside

Just an idea: www.bison.net/en/products/642-contact-ad...duct/2207-bison-tix/
SUPER STRONG, UNIVERSAL CONTACT ADHESIVE GEL: EASY TO SPREAD, NO DRIPPING, NO STRINGING.
Bonds plastic panel boards (such as Formica®), veneer, hardboard, plastic edgings, rubber, leather, linoleum, cork, textile or polyether foam to themselves as well as to wood, chipboard, concrete and metal.

Adam, any idea if a newer wheel will physically fit? Can air bag connectors be swapped?
Vaxxi sounds like that stuff is ideal. Worth a try if I go that route.

If I remember correctly, someone on here did swap his old steering wheel for the newer one. I think it was a bolt on job, and he managed to connect the wires too(maybe he cut the connector off and soldered the old one on it?).Licksan wrote: Adam, any idea if a newer wheel will physically fit?
