wheel play was created by freak
Hi everyone,

I got the car all jacked up the other day and noticed a little play in one o the front wheels. Is this a sign of bad wheel bearings or i just have to tight something there?

I don't know if it is a coincidence, but is just the one wheel that i pulled out the other day to try another. This other one is wider (7 inches), what caused a little lean in the front of the truck due to the 5.5 inches wide wheel on the other side of the SAME axle. I had the car like this for about 10 miles only before i switch back the original alloy into place. Are this 10 miles enough to damage the wheel bearing?

Thanks a lot!

yes there is a way to check if its kingpins or wheel bearings jack wheel off ground grab wheel at 9 & 3 oclock & shake wheel if theres play that way it will be wheel bearing if not then try 12 & 6 if there is just play that way it will be kingpin bearings

9&3 oclock could also be a trackrod end if there is play in them

And if both ways does that mean both are knackered?
