I did everything to do with my kingpins bearings and seals etc and I dont have that much technical experience mate it'll be easy if you follow martins guide its really helpfull :) took me a couple hours each side tops! :)

i can tell you you dont need the bearing tool to do the kingpins or the inner axle seal the bearing is in the hub which all comes off when the kingpins are removed

i know ive just done mine it easy to do like rich says its just abit messy ;-)

Take it from me, you do NOT need a bearing tool to change the Kingpin bearings (And I have a vested interest in selling you things!). The Bearing Tool is only needed to change the main wheel bearing.
