I do know if it's a G13BB engine you don't need to remove the transfer box so that save you about 45 mins.

Well to tell you all about fitting a clutch in a jimny is like making toast I say this because I fit gearboxes and clutches for a living I can do a jimny clutch box out and back in with in an hour and yes if you took it to a garage they would charge you by the hour or give you a fix price for the job if your paying more than, lets say £350 that's on the high side kk

Bloody hell guys, 7-8 hours!
The BOOK time for changing clutch plate, cover and release bearing is only 2.70 hours. even doing the job on axle stands you can get the box out in an hour.
If they charge you any more then 4 hours i would query it or better still when you drop the car off at the garage just highlight the fact that you are aware of the book time only being 2.70 hours.
Steve.
