Panosd. I have no problem, I will not simply pass on (I can only assume you wish me dead by that comment).

Your problem seems to be that if some does not agree with you then they must be wrong. The general consensus seems to be 50/50 as to the requirement of fitting hardened shafts etc when fitting 33's and that as long as you use the right gearing their is no problem fitting 33's at all.
I'm looking at all the info and links provided to make an informed decision as no one person can ever be right about it all.

Smoggy that seems to be a rather large tyre in your avatar, Have you fitted them?

Yes mate they are 12.5 x 33! The front shafts and cvs are SJ items in chromo 4340. The SJ axle has a jimny diff housing bolted to it with arb locking diff.

Can you give some more details off the mod with the sami axle and the jimny diff?

Yeah Panosd. The chromoly 4340 shafts were only available for the SJ and not Jimny so the guy who I got it from Gazwell, welded mounts for the jimny springs and arms and altered the mounting arms for the steering. Then so that the jimny prop would fit okay he seperated the diff bellhousing and drilled and tapped the SJ diff pan to accept the jimny bellhousing whilst fitting the arb locking diff assembly.
