I don't think it's just for the good looks that so many comp-trucks have heavy duty axles and shafts fitted.

Depends what class your entering. Standard/Mod/Int
Oh and in the 10 years I've been competing Its 60% driver and crew 40% vehicle.

Land rover axles have no common with jimny ones.

I have tried 32''s on simple trails and broke the front cv's at the first difficulty. And i am not a cannibal

when i drive off-road.

You will waist your time and money if you try to fit and work the 33's with stock axles. It's a pitty.

With 2 lockers a good t-case ratio and 31''s you can go EVERYWHERE.

I go off road with monsters with 35'' and believe me, i am always next to them.

And when we say off-road whey dont mean farm roads with mud, but this

The point I'm trying to get across is that when oversizing tyres if you drive within the limits of your vehicle you will avoid breakages for the most part.
I won't run lockers because I compete in standard class.

Shall I just send you my money and you can spend it for me?

it's a bit strange though. You're the one making this thread asking questions. And yet, also the one with all the answers.

Well I just agree with everyone else, 33 or 35" tyres are just too tall for standard jimny axles/shafts, at least for offroad use.

And what's the point in asking questions if you don't like the answers you're getting?
