Usually you have to reset one touch windows if the battery is off for a while. On the old Corsa you simply wound them up full, and hold the switch on up for 30 seconds. Maybe a jimny doesn't have them, my X reg likely doesn't, or I haven't found how to reset them yet :)

I'd read the codes myself, or you could pay someone more than a code reader to do it for you.

I know that Jimnys go through more oxygen sensors than they do crank sensors than they do cam sensors than they do coil packs, and there is no miss fire, so blind guessing, oxygen sensor.

Could be catalyst, which sometimes shows as oxygen sensor fault on the downstream sensor.

Best to read the codes rather than throw money at it blind though.

If it suddenly breaks, go back to the last thing that you did before it broke and start looking there :)

I'd drive it with the light on and get a code reader. Disconnecting the battery can cause more problems.

Treasurer, if you filled in your location, someone local to you might have a code reader and can check for you. I would if you lived near Walsall.

Plenty of £20 ones on eBay you want one that does OBD2 and says Suzuki in the supported cars list.

If it suddenly breaks, go back to the last thing that you did before it broke and start looking there :)
