Oily ball joint on front axel. was created by Muzza904
I was under my jimny today just having a look as you do and saw that my alloys and everything around the front axel ball joint thingy was covered in oil and road dirt etc. I can see that there is fresh oil as it has dripped slowly onto my tire leaving it streaky. Anyone ever had this before?

Ok when I'm home tomorrow I'll try that and if it wobbles then what's the solution. I think maybe 2 years ago when it was in the garage for something I remember the mechanic saying he had spaced something with copper washers to stop a wobble, as a kind of temporary fix. Could that be related? And what is the best size to make your photos to upload them lol. I keep forgetting

The copper washer thing will be to increase the load on the kingpin bearings... Which is a semi permanent fix to 'death wobble'
Oil dripping means means your axel/half shaft seals need replacing along with your king pin bearings.
Do not replace your king pins... Suzuki will insist these need changing @ £45 each and you need 4!
You need:
4 taper roller bearings (big jimny)
2 axel seals (big jimny)
2 ball joint seals (eBay)
Hylomar or similar sealant (big jimny or motor factors)
And some good quality waterproof bearing grease (big jimny)
