I've only got 225-75-15s tyres but main 2 reason for body lift and susp lift is if I wanted go to 16" wheels shouldn't be probablem and shocks still don't know whats best to get but for more clearance and a good ride off roading

16" wheels have nothing to do with a bigger tyre diameter.
31" tyres go just as well with 15" wheels as they do with 16".

You seem to be kinda new to offroading, so before you put any lift on your truck, spend some more time reading this forum, and learn what lifts and tire combos people are running.

This is my recipe for a capable offroad suzuki(and my opinion only):

In this order.

1. Keep it as low as you can. 2-3" suspension lift will do it (a BIG NO to bodylifts)
2. Get a set of good tires.
3. Make room for the tires with some trimming and hammering (there's a lot of room for tires on Jimny's that can be cleared with less work than what is needed to do a bodylift)
4. Get your under chassis(t-box and fuel tank) and axle protection(diff covers are made out of really thin sheet metal) sorted out WELL!
5. Regardless of tire size, get some kind of reduction gears for your t-box(helps a lot driving offroad without burning out clutches all the time!)
6. Get a rear locker
7. After those first six steps you can start getting any equipment you feel you need in any order( a winch, bumpers, snorkel, cage, front locker etc etc)

Agreed :-)

And also, note that an external cage without diagonal tubing is NOT for anything other that light offroading, since it doesn't give any real protection to the driver.

With a standard jimny transferbox and 2" bodylift I just bent the lever slightly with serious heat.

With the Rocklobster I have now that was a little more tricky.

Sorry to highjack this thread but is there anything to change on a 05> Jimny wihen doing a body lift with regards to the tbox? as it's electronic?
