Body lift
With a spring lift you will have more flex, unlike with a body lift which is more rock and roll.
Iv'e had both on my Jimny and the spring lift was the best.

Although, it's a good chance to return the set, and decide to go only with a suspension lift...
Yup, that's why I swapped to Poly spacers, as ally and steel cold-weld together as the two different metals react against each other...

Just get a spring lift with oil filled shocks. Take the softest you can, because you wanna go softly over the bumps and obstacles when you drive offroad, those stiff hardcore offroad shocks they advertise are really meant for a rally car rather than an offroader.JimnyX19 wrote: Well i could keep them just incase but put lift on first see how i feel then sell bodylift on if im comfortable without it. The shocks im thinking of going for is the rough country 3" off this site byt not sure to get gas filled or oiled. Jimny bits messaged me back and they are nylon and i can return if i like
And if I remember correctly, you didn't plan on getting any huge tires(upwards of 31"), so the 2" suspension lift kit is more than high enough for you, and you can forget that body lift completely. Look at the dirtydogz's truck, it has a 2" spring lift, and there's a lot of room for small tires even without arch trimming. If he some day decides he wants to run something bigger like 31's, the only thing he needs to do is trim some plastic off from the arches(a couple hours job, and that's a free mod if you do it yourself!), and there he has all the room he needs.

I have 31'' with 4'' susp lift and there is some space still there.
Now i think a 3'' susp lift would be fine for 31''.
4'' would probable fit 32''. I will try for 235/85/16 next month.
The best combination is as small susp lift is nessesery for the tire size you need.
