I have a strange issue that the engine light comes on if i reverse any distance..It then stays on for a day or two, and then goes out..
Oil and other fluid levels are ok and there isn't anything obviously wrong with the engine when its running ie temp is normal and performance same as usual.
Any ideas what the "problem" is and whether it is something to be worried about?
Seems to be about 10 -20 yards or so..def a bit further than just reversing off the drive, but at the same time, its not like reversing 1/2 a mile back up a green lane either..
If I disconnect/reconnect the battery, the light goes out and stays out (until next time) or it will go out on its own after a days or so..
