Transmission casing Drain plugs was created by wanderinstar

Have just had a look at the transmission cases,gearbox, transfer box and diffs.The plugs seem to have a hexagonal hole in the middle of them. What size hex do I need for these? Hopefully they are all the same size.
Just picked the car up on Friday, with no service book supplied so thought the first thing was to drain and refill all oils.

3/8" ratchet fits nicely.

Its a 10mm square drive. But as said, the transfer box access is limited so most use the head of a rachet

I use a square drive everywhere else though

Well I tried a 3/8"x1/2" adapter on a 1/2" rachet.Too long will have to buy a 3/8" rachet on its own.More cost at wrong time of the year.:ohmy:
