EBay and difflock adds are where to keep an eye out. If you see eBay adds for Vitaras being broken and those adds for a wheel nut enquire with the seller if they have manual locking hubs. They may not realise what they are and how hard they are to find nowadays!

Mine had locked hubs when i got it, replaced them with from manual SJ hubs and there is no difference in MPG or power... if i was to do it again i would just leave them locked.
