most common tyre size?

im just about to buy some off road tyres, more than likely insa turbos.

i wanted to go for 31 inch tyres, but thought i would check the most common used tyre size used on jimnys?
then i would no if to go smaller or not.

i want it mainly for boggy mud, to keep up with everybody

i was thinking of these tyres (if the pic shows) or are they to much for the jimny, dont want be breaking things

Quite a few of the Winch Challenge boys run that tread pattern, however, some I have spoken to have stated that they have little sideways grip - important off road, especially on side slopes and to stop you sliding into ditches and holes you don't want to be in!

The Insa Turbo Special Track pattern is good. I have Malatesta Kaimans which are in the same tread pattern.

31" needs a large lift and alot of wheel arch cutting to fit.

I have 215/80/15's and a sagged 3" lift and with a small amount of cutting and taking out the arch liners on the front they only catch a little occasionally.

i did have 235/75/15 a/t tyres, i think is 28-29 inch, is bigger tyres the better? or will 235/75/15 be ok with insa turbo style tyres on make alot of differance than my old tyres,
i just see people trying to put the biggest they can on, if theres not much difference between a 29 than a 31 i would rather put 29s as there cheaper, i go out with a couple of vitaras and they seem better in deep mud, thats why i was gonna try 31s

i have only got a 2 inch sus lift, 2 inch body lift, i have cut the arches up to the lip about an inch around the arch
will that take 31s without rubbing everywhere?

Don't recommend them on the road though.:sick:
