thanks for your response. i started another thread about the headlight yesterday (headlight assembly removal) as i couldnt find any info. i still couldnt get the headlight fully out, it was like it was getting stuck on the bumper.

yes when it feels like that it needs pulling to 'pop' it out of its two little sockets
so along with the 2 bolts and 2 studs that are clearly visible on the back of the light theres 2 more fixings?
i was wiggling it around for ages trying to get it out with no success, its like its to big to fit through the hole! it would come out forwards about 2inches and then go no further. was a mission to get back in aswell, seems to be getting jammed on something.
