This can be done in two simple steps;

step 1 - sell automatic Jimny
step 2 - buy manual Jimny

Seriously though, why build what you can buy? It will probably be cheaper and less time consuming to do it this way than to buy the bits you need for a conversion

my 2 easy steps to the conversion would be

step 1 find someone with a manual who wants a auto
step 2 do a swap

If you had had an M13A engine I would have swapped, can't understand why anyone would want to get rid of an auto box? They are the bees knees for off-roading.

That makes 2 of us. I would love to swap my M13A manual with an auto.

If I were to buy any offroader again it would be an auto.

I also agree that selling the auto and buying a manual is the easiest and cheapest route for you. If you can get through this winter without it, sell in a month or 2 for silly money as everyone wants a 4x4 for winter, then buy again next summer when people have forgotten how they couldn't get about in the snow!

If you're insistent on having yours converted, speak with Rhino Ray, he does manual to auto conversions so likely has the parts you need spare and the know how to do the reverse conversion.
