front is even easyer than rear to change & i also have front diff available if you decide you need one
I have a sneaking suspicion it took some abuse a long while ago in some bad weather i had been using 4wd. I changed the oil in both diffs a while later, when i went to drain the front it had a dribble of oil in. I obviously refilled and have always took care to check the levels since!
Hubs are now manual so i no longer have any sticky hub issues!
Its still providing drive to the front wheels without issue so far, does this mean an end to my playing until i replace it or can i just carry on for the short term as i'm planning on replacing the diff? I've not been off road for a couple of months with it like it but i presume they don't just go it must have been like it for some time.

your better of getting it sorted asap in my opinion
I plan on doing it soon, just lack the funds for a few weeks having just forked out for a new exhaust, mot and tax. I was just sort of aiming at a "worst case".
