The winch is a must 
and relocating the radiator is also something to consider.

Perhaps I'll just look into that.
when I get my hands on a Jimny, it'll be easier to see what's needed
But I don't think I'l go for a big winch bumper, I try something a bit more minimalistic. Also because it's not intended to be road-legal.

here's my front winch. only about an 70mm extra on the front and that's the fair lead . hardly ruining the approach angle
