That's where mine used to be, on the bumper by the number plate.
I've mounted it on the door now as I've got a Rhino Ray steel rear bumper and didn't want to mount it to that.
The cable should be ok, it goes through the rubber grommets and is well protected.
Opening/closing of the door shouldn't cause any problems.

Actually the cable doesnt flex. there is sufficient room in the conduit to allow for the cable to pass though plus if you have enough slack there is no flex on the cable, it just moves from side to side.
The cable is standard twisted flex which is designed to flex ... people donot worry about cables fatigueing in other cars .. and I donot see fatigue being an issue here

When I say I've got one, it's in the post as we speak. Expecting it to arrive by the end of this week.
I haven't got any plastic bumpers on the Jim now, both front and rear R.Rays are going on once I'm back off my hols mid September.
The rear one is the same as the pictures (2) on his website, or at least, I hope it will be. LoL!

look forward to seeing them going on.
clever, I like it - so you pop off and have a lovely holiday, and instead of getting a bit blue as the holiday comes to an end - it's :woohoo:
