Black Jimny's don't get stuck!

I just looked it up in my manual and was shocked to see its such a paltry amount!
I've got a plated trailer at 50kg leaving me the 300kg payload. There would be little point bothering with a braked trailer to just carry another 100kg. I've had mine fully loaded and at an estimate close to if not over the 450kg and it was hard work getting it going.

I use the Jimny to tow my teardrop caravan (320kg) and it is perfect for towing it. My dad also borrows it to tow his Ifor Williams P6e trailer and loves it.
I have always wondered how a Jimny would cope in low range 4wd pulling a full sized caravan off a waterlogged campsite when a 2wd car can't get traction.
If only the Jimny had a few extra HP to give it some extra 'umph' when towing.

I have towed a 2 tonne Jeep Cherokee, 4 people, out of thick mud and half way across salisbury plain.. Then, towed it 15 miles home on hard roads no probs with the jimny.
Pulling a full sized caravan off a waterlogged site would be no problem at all.

I've read on another forum that a guy had pulled a 7tonne lorry/truck in snow
In low ratio a jimny would tow pretty much anything.

7 tonnes ... rolling maybe.. I have a competition clutch in our jimny (previous clutch lasted 3 months after recovering a discovery from thick mud).

That was me! We'd had a delivery and he span the wheels and slid towards the building finishing a foot or 2 away, it just didn't have enough weight on the back wheels and no clutch to slip. He tried digging away behind the wheel but didn't listen to me when i said he would still spin as the wheels were sat on the snow, he couldn't go forward or back and just kept getting closer to the building.
I hooked the straps up to something solid and he kept the wheels spinning so i wasn't pulling dead weight and i pulled the back end round and away from the building. Took a couple of changes of position to pull it clear. She did struggle a bit especially when he didn't listen to my mate and i pulled the dead weight a couple of times just before the weight overcome the jimny and it acted as an anchor and i just sat with all 4 wheels spinning!
my clutch gave up about 3 weeks later!
My mate did have a clip on his mobile for a while of it but never sent it to me.
