Hi Luke,
Shouldn't need a sparky - Google is your mate for this one as you should be able to download manuals for everything you have got and take it from there. Get some masking tape and label each wire as you identify it then either lay it allout onthe kitchen table or garage floor if your mother is about so you can see what goes where or draw your own diagram which you can then keep for sorting out any problems further dowwn the line

If you want to shake your windows out my lad has a Kenwood KAC 6203 amp (600Watts) and a Pioneer TS-WX 301 sub (800 Watt) with a Boss wiring kit that he bought off a mate to fit in the jeep, not really my thing so I'm afraid I have done nothing to encourage it;)

It had been used for less than a year, we decided it was too good to get knocked about and spattered with mud and it has sat here for a year now. Has all instructions and brackets etc necessary to install and is still in original boxes, although it won't go under the seat :D You'd also need some decent speakers and your head unit

Could be mailed down for £100 all in, not a hard sell just if of any interest, the original package from www.caraudiosecurity was £190 and it would still cost more than that to buy the components separately!

Looking at the spec of the amp online, its not going to be enough to power a sub...

You would be better off buying that amp and sub above.

Or, go for an active sub (all in 1).

Thanks for your response. The amp is supposed to be 600W and the sub is 500W. I might just send it all back to the company i bought it from and start from scratch !
Thanks again.

if you want to power a single sub, then you need one that will bridge into Mono, or will give a mono output.
