Sort the stick out, you'll be lucky to get it water tight any other way mate,:whistle: then the carpet starts to hum:pinch:

Ah, fair point... lack of carpets may help with the smell but not really the point. A bit of heat from my blow lamp and bend it?

If you can get to oxy heat the better and quicker it will be for you, I did'nt need to bend my jimny lever as I cut the tunnel for speed :blush: ..........but when fitting the rocklobster I needed the heat to bend the lever, you need It red hot or hotter to get a bend.
Safer to do it in a vice;) also a blow lamp might warm the hole lever up before it's hot enough to bend where needed.

My mate cut a small wedge out of mine, then bent the lever forward, welded it up and its spot on!
