Garry,
I think they probably are needed.
You could buy some Countersunk head bolts such as these..
But I would think that the angle of the countersink is not enough. I also think the cone washer helps stop the bolt undoing on its own (due to the rotation of the wheel)
The cone Washers are part number:
43841-80000 from Suzuki
42323-60010 from Toyota.
They are really really expensive from here

Martin, I would think that an 8.8 Grade Steel Counter Sunk Allen screw would be better than a Stainless Steel. The A2 grade may be a bit "soft" since we are putting quite a bit of torque through the hub flanges.

Mad4x4,
You are completely correct, I just did a quick search for M8 Countersunk and didn't really look closely at the response.

Those really do not look like SJ hubs at all. That doesn't mean they won't fit as a number of other hubs fit ok, for example Warn make hubs that fit SJs.
Providing the hubs fit the driveshafts then you will be ok with my spacers and bolts without the cone washers. And you can always sell the cone washers on to the next person who forgets to get them with their SJ hubs!
These are the standard SJ hubs
Here is the countersink and the bolts/cones fitted in the hub.

Don't get me wrong, those hubs you have may well fit, they are just not the standard Aisin ones.
