Wonder if 6J eight spokes or modulars would be an issue with the right tyres? I've seen one lately with some white eight spokes on but it doesn't look like it gets muddy often so it may not be an issue to them, not sure on the width either i saw it on a driveway.
I like the standard rims but they would look so much better with just a slightly deeper dish.

its getting the right offset too though, when ive bought rims for a jimny before ive only been able to get the ones with Daihatsu offset (dealer swears theyre right...lol), look great , but you'll be cutting arches!

Should be fine, Daihatsu usually have more offset i.e. stick out more and can usually be found in 7" width rather than the 5.5" of the std jimny rims. I know I'm miles away but your more than welcome to arrange a carrier to collect these wheels of mine, be better out of my way, they have some baldish tyres on them though.
best of all theyre free!
