How much! was created by Roger Fairclough
Just watched an episode of Bangers and Cash and one car proved an interest. It was an immaculate SJ410 with a reserve of £11,000. After a hectic few minutes the hammer dropped on £19,000.
Makes me wonder what my 2020 Gen.4 SZ5 would fetch?

Sounds like the white commercial hard top one that sold last year. It was well advertised before the auction as being one of the best ones. I watched the live auction online. I think they got lucky to get 19k for it but it shows what SJs can fetch if the right one comes up. SJs are classics now. They hit rock bottom a several years ago but they are becoming that car of where did they go and any good ones left are being snapped up. As for the newer Jimnys who knows. With the automotive world going in a direction that no one really wants then perhaps Jimny prices will stay firm. I recently paid up for a 2018 Gen 3 which was more than it was brand new back in 2018 but that's the way the market is for that generation of Jimny. As the older ones rot and get scrapped gradually they are thinning out and at some point those will become the where did they go car and the good ones left will get good money. I guess the same would go for the Gen 4.
