I had an exasperating afternoon looking for my removal tool for my locking wheel nuts. It took me an hour or so but I eventually found it less than 400mm from where it should have been. This got me thinking as the original kit, supplied from new, came with 5 locking nuts but only one removal tool. So does anyone know of a company that supplies 5 nuts with 2 tools?

Cheers  Roger

Replied by Busta on topic Locking wheel nuts.
Do you even need locking wheel nuts? I remove them from all my vehicles as they cause more problems than they solve. The only exception is the spare wheel on the back door.

Last year both door mirrors on Vivs Audi had the mirror part with there associated heater elements and wires stolen. There was no other damage so the low life had a need for them, knew where there was a suitable donor and went to work. This kind of thing hardens you to try as best you can to protect your property.
Years ago the local shops did not need security roller shutters but my local shops all have them.
It's a sad but true sign of the times.
I understand Busta's view and if he lives in an area that has a low crime rate then lucky him, but Redditch is not such a place and care is required.
