This seems to be an extra piece which is riveted on to the main wheel arch/bumper and given it is already at maximum tyre diameter it's not going to get any worse with suspension compression. The worm-drives don't come close anywhere else so I can't see Sahara's in the same size from rubbing anywhere. This piece is fairly soft and flexible, so if it did hit, it would just move it out of the way and it's only at full lock, so I think I will be fine.

I checked full lock to full lock, my worm-drives get to about 10-15mm of a small piece of plastic mud-guard which hangs down at the front.We had a bit of snow here today, but I am going to try full lock on my worm drives 215/75r15 tomorrow and measure the clearance before hitting the button on the Saharas.
