New New Jimny
lf it will sell for £24,000 they ain't going to let it go for £20,000.
l don't agree with the practice and emailed Suzuki twice to complain about it.
And although Suzuki "weren't happy" about dealers selling Jimnys over list price, and it "wasn't in the spirit of the brand", as the dealers had registered the vehicles they were technically no longer new, and there was "nothing" they could do about it.

i.e.
Suzuki will tell the dealers not to take orders and not to take deposits, vehicles will be randomly allocated to dealers based on sales performance. colours and spec. will be random pot luck.
Some dealers will ignore that directive and take specific orders and money and then will disappoint people by failing to deliver the wanted car because none of the right spec randomly turn up or buyng the car themselves to inflate the price they can command.
Just a guess....
