What are peoples thoughts on
THESE
?
I have some reservations myself, even if the tube is well coated inside with wax first, I would still be worried about trapping moisture and build up of condensation.
Anyone used them long term?

Same thoughts here. I doubt it's possible to completely prevent moisture from entering the chassis and by plugging it you're removing any chance for it to dry out.

I wouldn’t waste money on that. The juice is not worth that particular squeeze.

My vote is to leave them out.
As part of the car/under-body washing procedure, push a (baby's) bottle brush through the tubes to remove any unwanted residue.
