10 litres of petrol at around 0.7kg/litre. Sounds perfect to me!

Re. gen 3 roof bars, they are perfectly adequate for the 30kg load limit. Many people falsely attributed their design as the reason for the low load limit when in fact the opposite is true. Fun fact!

That being said though the feet are plastic and plastic doesn't age well. The covers on mine went grey at about 7 years and made some horrible cracking noises when I removed them to take the actual bars off so on an even older version I'd be wary of loading them too much.

I assumed you were joking when you posted that, but just looked it up and wow, had no idea that petrol weighed less than water! Every day is a school day :cheer:
