Suppliers include people "breaking for spares" on a regular basis, when purchasing spares members should ask a supplier what they contribute to the running of the forum particularly if contacted by a Private Message

All I can add is I chose to run a tap through all the threads on the slider itself (M12 coarse). I found the things so awkward I wanted all the bolts to go in first time.
I didn't use a jack or ramps and relied on the old gearbox on belly technique (on the principle that it can't fall on you if it's already on you). The only extra piece of advice I can offer is to phone a friend, this has got to be easier with two.

I have the Jimnybits sliders. Nice fit. Seem solid and well made. Have used in anger and protected the sill. They are too light and low down to notice any mpg or handling changes with them IMO.
