Good to hear you're trying to silence the various warning buzzers. I'm guessing the Jim4 uses a body control module (Jim3 doesn't) that could be offended by wiring interference. I'm supposed to be working on a module to auto turn off collision warning, I haven't got very far. If you find a way to fix any of these alarms please post some pics, much appreciated.

I did not like any of the sound alarms for lights, keys or seatbelts. I found the buzzer inside the dashboard cluster of my 05 Jimny 3 and put a piece of tape on the connections inside it.
Peace. :)

This easily reversible too.

I got holted in my tracks when i seen the SRS AIRBAG label on the side of the seat cover.

Is there any danger of interfering in some way with the airbag system if i tinker with the underseat cables ?

Anything in either a yellow sheath or with a yellow plug is srs and to be left alone. It is possible that the belt sensor is coupled with the seats occupant sensor and it's all passing through the srs computer. You need to try and find a diagram for the seat and buzzer system really.
