Hi All,
Just received my Suzuki Jimny workshop repair manual 'cd' from an Ebay seller, he stated it covered the 2009 model, turns out it doesn't it's from the Suzuki 2002 manual stating engine type M13 showing a chain cam drive whereas mine is the M13A engine which is belt cam drive. :pinch:
Although the manual is very detailed and I guess generic for most of the info I'll need for the Jimny, I won't be able to trust it fully, especially for torque settings etc.
I tried to buy a Haynes manual for the 2009 M13A Model but it doesn't exist. Does anybody know where I can buy a workshop manual for my 2009 Jimny either as a hard-copy or a download.
I'm not bitching about the ebay cd as there's a lot of good info and I only paid £5.00.
Cheers

Thanks Halford,, What a bummer,,, My cam belt needs replacing according to the service schedule, change when 6 years old or at 45,000 miles which ever comes first, it's only done 34,000 miles so, I guess I won't be able to do it myself not having the info. Hate paying for something I would love to do myself.
Cheers.

M13A has a timing chain.
As Halford said, no Haynes manual for the Jimny - it's for the best really, especially as the workshop manuals are available online.

Hello Mick C,
Thanks for the reply,,,,I'm new to the Jimny, only had it a few weeks, when I bought some car parts from Europarts I typed in my reg number, YL09 HYH came up cam belt for the timing, this is where I got the info from,, I have not stripped the cam belt case off as yet, I was hoping to get a manual first before getting stuck in. You can see why I need a manual, getting duff info from a parts supplier.
Guess you know my next question!!!!
Can you give me a link to download the manual I need? 2009 M13A. I guess Halford would be happy to get it too.
Cheers Mick C.

Just checked Halfords web-site again, now it has two types! Belt and chain for my reg of car, three weeks ago it stated only belts. Checked my hand book too, Engine type is M13A as stated, and in the service schedule it states to change the timing belt, so now I'm totally confused, I guess I'll have to crack open the timing cover to be sure.
