If you adjust the tightening just right, the small oil leak will prevent it rusting :)
Jokes aside they are not so rusted.
But with aluminium and steel the chemical currents will make the steel work like a sacrificial anode for the aluminium.

Tried to start the car after doing alot of work. Made a lot of noise.

But does an aftermarket SJ/Samurai Centerforce clutch fit a m13 2005 Jimny you might ask?
Well allmost. Or maybe is more correct.
The Centerforce sentrifugal weights interfere with the clutch release arm so trying agan today with the weights removed.

Spent hours under the Jimny this morning trying to get the gearbox filler plug undone as a last resort before giving up and booking it in to a local garage in the hope they can do what I can't.
Long story short after all my efforts Jimny booked in for next Friday.
Something that I thought should have been simple has turned into a right pain in the backside.

Had the gearbox back in and now it all works.
A clutch is a clutch on a jimny it seems. My 05 now has a clutch I bought for my 85.
