feel like a proper muppet but thought I'd post so as to warn others,
since I'd removed the rear door trim to fix my rear wiper and refitted the trim (slightly out of alignment) the rear door lock plunger had been sticking, unable to slide down, thereby leaving the door open.
so if you ever remove the rear door trim, make sure it's re-fitted correctly or you too will be a muppet :pinch:
on the plus side, the alarm was still activated and it shows that there's little interest in robbing a Jimny or it's contents

That button is the very devil. I actually don't tuck the trim in at the top to make removal of the panel easier as it catches on that button. Also, I don't like the way the buttons are hard to "read" if up or down.Halford wrote: today I discovered that my rear door hasn't been locking

But now I have to take the Jimny doing a wheel alignment...
Were did you get tgat turnbuckle
I made it myself in the company where I work (moulds for plastic injection industry). I cut the original front panhard rod about 150mm and creat two threaded tips with about 35mm long each, one have a left thread and the other right-hand thread (MF16 step 1,5), this so that if I run the tuner, the panhard rod stretch or shrink!!
will weld the tips on the ends of panahrd
And by the way, also have done the alignment direction as the opinion of markyp2000!!!!
