Spanner and Key Sizes for Common Fasteners
Spanner & Hex Key Sizes for Sets/Bolts and Socket Caps
Size.........Spanner.......Hex Key Size
M8.......... 13mm.......... 6mm
M10........ 17mm.......... 8mm
M12........ 19mm......... 10mm
M14........ 22mm......... 12mm
M16........ 24mm......... 14mm
M18........ 27mm......... 14mm
M20........ 30mm......... 17mm
M24........ 36mm......... 19mm

I wish! I'm sure 14mm spanner is common on a jimny. I'm a field engineer and would love to travel that light.

Was a time when I carried imperial too.

I was told that it was for superstitious reasons, lucky number thirteen and all that. The only time I've come across 13s on a jap car was on brake systems, but they're off the shelf Bosch items so not really jap.

Got the U bolts, plates and chunky wing nuts needed to secure my waffle boards to the rook rack. I also fitted a simple ply-wood load liner.
