One of those things, John....I bought it before I joined this Forum, and if I'd known then what I know now...... :woohoo: :woohoo:

I've said it before, and I'll say it again....the depth of knowledge on here is, IMO, unrivalled....and I've seen countless Jimnys advertised on here in the last 18 months that knock my Mode into a cocked hat ;)

However, out of the two I shall make one really good one !!!!!!

Gus :)

Love the red Gus. B) Is there a full pic somewhere?
I did something like that with two Ford Anglia engines back in the 60's. Back then you could get away with that. :( It ran for years, I did some 90 odd thousand miles in it.

Replaced two tie rod ends today and gave the tie rod a lick of paint. It's now a fetching hammerite brown as that was the only paint I had left! Tie rod ends were only £7+ vat from the local motor factors which was nice.

What a difference between Japanese built and Spanish built :woohoo:

When I fitted it to the blue Mode, it fitted like a glove, but fitting it to the softie was a different kettle of fish altogether

Things just didn't line up like they should, spent ages drilling little bits out here and there to make it align properly.

Anyway...it's on, and I'm well pleased ;)

What brand of tow bar is that? Im after one that doesn't destroy the rear departure angle and that looks like it might fit the bill!
