the only reason i would fit difflocks would be for if i got stuck so it helped to get unstuck but i like the challenge of really thinking about the line i have to choose

Also samurai axles are norower than jimny ones. You are going to need 2 pairs of wheel spacers at each side

to get them sorted with the rears.

Also you will have to make new coil and radious arms brackets on the sami axle, measure and adjust caster,

fix steering bars, front and rear of axle.

90% you wont be happy with the result, if jimny is your daily car.

If you have it only for off-road its ok.

I suggest you get a set of HD front axle shafts and cv's , and make some axle strength parts like ora's.

I have on my own a set of insa turbo special tracks 235/85/16 with front hd axleshafts and cv joints and its ok.

I run a 4.9 t-case and arb's on both axles.

im not breaking cv's or halfshafts.....still on originals from new its the spider gears (planet gears) thats are snapping thats all but means i need to buy a whole diff just for these parts....i may look into land rover axles or similar

It is odd your are breaking the diff gears but not CV's. I wonder if there is another issue causing this.

What diff oil are you using and what level do you keep it at. It's just you are the first person I've read having diff problems before CV's or at all for that matter!
