Are you still struggling with this? I bought the bolt set from Martin and used a nut extractor on that drivers side one with a big bar, it chewed it a bit but came straight out. Had been dowsing them all for about 10 days with WD.
yep still not got them out yet going to have another go eather tomorow or sat if it aint raining again.got a big bar to try with,i also have some locking wheel nut removers that might fit so might end up using them to.
I installed my lift kit today, and those upper bolts were stuck on really tight on my truck too, but it only took a basic ratchet spanner and some MUSCLE to crack them loose. No spraying WD40, and no special equipment. Just laying on my back under the truck using my two hands, no problem!
When I did mine the inner metal sleeves had welded themselves to the bolts so used an anglegrinder to cut the bolt heads off and then spread the socket to get them out, b*stard of a job !!
Put plenty of waterproof or copper grease on the new ones !!
think i have been a right numpty, when trying ive tried to undo the bolt, n then tried to undo the nut,are the nuts fixed to the bracket.well had a spanner at the back with socket on the front.o well i have learnt summet.
with some heat got the buggers undone, now found that the bush sleeves are rusted to the bolt as i undo the bolt it opens up the shock bracket.what do you mean gromit, cut the bolt heads off and then spread the socket to get them out.do you mean open the bracket up,if so i can do that by undoing the bolt right out then chop the heads off.ta.

Yep thats what you need to do mate, sounds drastic but no other way. I actually cut through the top shocker eye, removed the shocker then cut through the rubber to make room to cut the bolt head off.
Of course this only works if you have new shockers and new bolts to put back on
With a 2'' bodylift I managed to get my impact driver onto the top bolts and they removed quite easily with the help of some plusgas a few hours before. Thank god for my compressor
