Cheers Bluejimny, piccy helps a lot. I will get on and fit it, I have checked the tie rod ends, dirtydogz, all seem ok, but they were my thinking also, especially that I have done 54,600 miles, but my zooki has just past its MOT with flying colours.
I will fit the damper kit and report back. Thanks

Hi,
Quick report back, I have fitted the jimny bits steering damper kit, and I have to say, why don't jimny's come with these things as standard, WOW!! :woohoo: steering in really smooth, no more wobbles. On ther motorway at 65 MPH, yes not a typo, 65MPH, the drive was smooth.
Well worth the investment.

Morning,
Just a quick question. When installing with your wheels straight. How far should the piston be in the shock when installing?
Cheers

If the wheels are straight then half way in the stroke of the damper so you have equal travel in each direction.
