Remove 3 screws and Pull off the facia, remove th screws and flip everything upside down. The only fiddly bit is shaving a lug off the clock so it can be turned round.

I take itt you didnt have the clock fitted upside down, only the housing.

If you put the clock up top you shouldnt need to put it on the right aswell as the radio will no longer be in the way so make it even easier

Well that is the only fault I have found, as yet. Yes I know the ride is bumpy and if you do anything more than 50 you can get wobbles. But as has already been said they were built as a4x4, not a luxury limo.

No you have to rotate the whole unit through 180degrees which ends up with the clock upside down. The clock can de removed from its clips but only goes back one way. So you shave off the lug and it will go back the right way up

Easier to do than explain

I'm half tempted to hack it to bits and put a double din stereo in there

Something is wrong with it, likely worn out kingpin bearings and dust seals.

They do get blown around but without wind they drive straight (unless you have an uncorrected lift fitted)

If it suddenly breaks, go back to the last thing that you did before it broke and start looking there :)

Right under the black part at the very bottom of the dash there are 2 pozidrive screws.
Remove them, and then take the ashtray out, and remove the 2 self tappers upwards through the metal ashtray guide plate at the seat end.
The black part of the dash wrenches outwards at the bottom, but won't come out with the radio cage still fitted, so this has to be removed as well.

Well,Ihave taken 2 screws out of the bottom, 3 out of the ashtray aperture. But it still seems to be stuck like S***to a blanket.Rang a dealer up and he said he thought there were 2 more screws behind the radio. But then he mentioned some clips somewhere.
Grumpy 22 where are you, when i need you.:)

Look at the bottom of the top of the radio in the middle is a upside down screw on the trim, then this will be loose once the screws in the ashtray are removed, then with the trim off there is 4 screws holding the whole radio/clock unit in.
It's the easiest radio i've ever removed out of 1000's.
