1 fault with the Jimny. was created by wanderinstar
Happy New Year to everyone.
I have had the Jimny for about a month now. I love it to bits.Easy to work on,fantastic turning circle. But the one fault Ihave found is that I can't see the clock.Unless I bend down, not conducive to good driving practice. The radio I have in mine has a detatchable front panel, which makes it stick out a bit further than normal.
Does anyone else have this problem, or is the standard radio different to the one I have,

There is a post on here showing you how to flip the radio and clock round so the clock is at the top right. I done it and it's very simple and easy to do. You just remove the plastic surround that surrounds the radio and cigaret lighter etc and flip the housing that holds them in. You need to cut a notch in the clock so it fits into the clip that holds it. It's a million times better once done!

Yep that was me and my car, easy enough to do takes about an hour at the most.

Remove 3 screws and Pull off the facia, remove th screws and flip everything upside down. The only fiddly bit is shaving a lug off the clock so it can be turned round.

You may have to release a little more of the radio loom by cutting a cable tie or two

Enjoy

That sounds like a plan.Does anyone have any idea where to find the article. Tried the search facility, to no avail.
Any ideas Martin?

Unfortunately search is pretty poor on this website. I must look at wether a better one is available, however searching for grumpy22 clock just worked for me.
