can you do just the back and sides is that legal will it afect my insurerance

You can legally fully tint the back window and rear side windows but if you haven't told your insurers that either you have installed the tint or the tint was on the car when you bought it and you have a prang and you or someone else claims they won't pay out if they find that the car was modified without them being informed (I.E not telling them about the window tints). So best to tell them before you do it!! Lol.

At the end of the day you could not tell them and drive around quite happily with no problems but if you do have an accident and they find out for the sake of £10 DIY fitted window tints you will of lost your insurance and be paying for everything!!
