Had a look on ebay and as you say CAM suzuki have all three props. Is there a easy way to work out which one has the worn UJ on it?

Dont want to replace all three if only one needs doing.

Thanks in advance

I don't have a part number I'm afraid but buy a prop with god UJ's on, it saves the need to rempve UJ's which is doable but not fun and speeds up fixing the problem to a 20 minute job with no loss of skin to knuckles or swearing!

They are cheap enough to buy as a unit - shaft with 2 good UJ's.

Then I can stick new ones on my current prop in my own time and have a ready made spare :)

If a second hand prop with good UJ's on is in balance, why change the UJ's to the old prop, especially as many of the ones from CAM SUZUKI are off much newer vehicles.

To work out which UJ is worn you need to get underneath and turn the shafts quickly to see if there is any play. There is always a bit of backlash in the diffs but you'll feel the play in the UJ before the diff backlash.

It's not always easy and is far easier if the props are removed as the play is then obvious.

Listening to where the noise is coming from might give you a clue as to which shaft it's from and I doubt it's the short shaft between the gearbox and transfer box so that only leaves the front and rear props.
