ours is fine - some times feels like it is going to tip but never does - adds to the excitement
but then it does have 30mm spacers to widen the track - you should do this with a smaller lift to improve stabillty

Those recovery points look very good, however I have a fear of welding, any sensible way they could be bolt mounted?

Mods I have done are simple but have made a difference.

BF Goodrich 215/75 mud terrain tyres
32mm spacers (have introduced more death wobble around 40-45mph than before)
Front, rear & transfer box guards out of 4mm powder coated steel (bolted on!)
Heavy duty transfer box mounts (not really required now due to guard, but alloy ones were shot)
Remote alarm, giving me remote central locking, immobiliser, drive away locking etc (not a performance mod, but don't want to spend all that money and then have someone else drive it away!)
Tiny CB radio (under ash tray) & spare wheel mounted aerial

That's it for now, just saving for the 2" spacer lift, recovery points and window tinting!

Hi mate these could be drilled and bolted on yes. You would have to drill the towing eye and the car .
Where did u get the protection plates from that's what I want next.

Thanks
James

Thanks, I shall have a look and let you know if I would like some!

I got the underbody protection made up bespoke because the only stuff I could find was weld on and seemed pricey. I will post some pics when I can. Got them made by a local fabricator, cost me £90 for all three, but I had to do some chopping and drilling to get them to fit.

I would also be interested in the measurements. I've been looking around the web, and the under car protection offerings seem a bit sparse. I know somewhere I can get metal cut bent and powder coated so was thinking of having a crawl under and drawing something up myself. Nice to have some ideas though.
