Just a silly question. If you see another jimny do you wave? I find if its a lady driver they dont useualy wave, if its a "muddy" jimny then i get a wave or thumbs up. Other modded suzuki's tend to wave to.
What about you?

It's one of the nicest things about owning a Land Rover. It has to start somewhere, so why not here now!

Normal Jimny drivers tend to just stare with their jaws on the floor and appear to think "What the hell has he done to that, Is it a Jimny???" To them a Jimny is just another car though.
My club has alot of members locally so I get alot of people I know waving when I'm in the Jimjam too.
Some Landrover owners seem up their own arse though. Not the rough and ready offroaders though. They have a respect for the Jimny as they have seen first hand (often mine) what they can do. Those with the shiny Defenders that have all the kit but are full of S>@^ are the ones that look at you like people ued to look at Skodas!
They are the ones that I look back at in a similar way as clearly they wouldn't know what do if they came down to my club. They'd be on their roof before I could shout "Mind you don't scratch that!".
Klaxons are brill though, I have one on my Jimjam. It takes a little bit of the seriousness out of it all and brings back a little of the fun that some people seem to forget the sport is all about as they start boasting about their centre winch etc... I do give others I see a good sounding of the Klaxon if I think they'll appreciate it - kids love it!!!

Most modified offroaders wave (apart from ones in Fronteras)
driving back from offroading covered in mud on a Sunday afternoon I get surrounded by rubberneckers (same on the motorway when its on a trailer)
Most standard Jimny drivers where I live are usually too busy on their phone or checking their make up

I sometimes get the nod from other offroaders and get loads of thumbs ups when its muddy! Especially kids in the back of cars, they love it.
