Where's best to get a Lock Rite?

Ok - Powertrax in the USA have replied :)

Of course, they have never heard of the Jimny. They have Lockrites for 22 and 26 Spline Suzuki Differentials. Now, by my reckoning, the rear one is 26 Spline as I have a picture to prove it.

And the Kaiser table (I have written to them as well!) seems to say the same

Does anyone have any CONFIRMED info as to the make/model/fit of the Powertrax product??

Martin, infact anybody.....

What is involved in fitting one of these, like what else would be needed etc?

Sounds tempting!!

I am not sure as I have an ARB locker in mine and it was fitted when I bought it. This also means I am not participating in the group buy as I am already sorted.

I am sure some of the posters here have them fitted.

The key think about these lockers is that they are NORMALLY LOCKED. This means they are locked when driving along the road, they then release the tension that builds up through a slipping mechanism, this can make a noise, particularly on roundabouts and tight bends. Having said that a number of people like them and certainly they are cheaper than an ARB.

The price is based on an order for 4. Therefore when 4 people say yes this will be a go.

I have had it confirmed that its a 1510-LR locker and it fits the rear of the Jimny, Andyw and Maverick on this forum run them already.

A further thought on the delivery front. Rather than have them delivered to me, I could have them delivered to one of you guys who is more central. That would save one lot of UK delivery straight away and the others may be able to collect, saving further money?

Payment (when required - not yet) is best by Bank Transfer as I do not incur Paypal charges this way. If you want to pay via Paypal then there will be a small Paypal fee.

Martin,

I will have one, my mate Adam will have one for his vvt.
We both live Staffs/Derbyshire so depending on where the other pottential buyers are from they can be shiped to one of us to save Uk postage.
We are both happy to pay up front.

Come on Biggaz one of these would just finish ur truck! Stick ur name down for one!

Thanks Martin for organising this! Put me down for 2 please, front and rear. Do we know the part number for the front?

It's only fair to add something to cover your time and effort put into this.

Cheers

Have come accross this installation manual on the company website. Gives a good idea what's involved in fitting.
