Hi Dave
yes will keep an eye on what your doing we can swop notes, a narrow buggy has appeal as it makes it easier to transport around, i used to just drive my honda straight into the back of my van nice and easy, however its nice to take some one out and the scare the hell out of them lol
i have narrowed suzuki axles before and they seem to come out narrower than expected, i did one for a lawn mower i built and because of the wide tyres i used it limited the width of the rear chassis to about 4" when you were on full lock

so first thing i need to do before i decide on engine choice/position is get this one working again, when i parked it up last year it was working fine, now it just spins over and makes no attempt to fire up, i cant see its developed a mechanical fault while it was sleeping the winter away so it has to be an electrical gremlin possibly immboliser or perhaps as simple as water getting in the fuel tank somehow, i cant find my fault code reader right now so lets start with undoing a fuel line and see what comes out
